Why Wales has no separate published price
The official UK series is a single national observation. It is priced on the Monday nearest the fifteenth of the month, for deliveries up to 1,000 litres, with VAT at 5% included. There is no regional breakdown behind it, and nobody else publishes one for Great Britain either.
Sites that show you a regional price for a GB region are showing you either a national figure with a regional label on it, or a set of quotes collected from sellers. This page does the first of those and says so, which is the only honest version of it.
The local geography, and what it does to a delivery
The north to south road network is poor, so Wales is effectively served as several separate delivery regions rather than one. A Powys depot and a Pembrokeshire depot are not competing for the same houses.
Delivery
Local competition density varies enormously across Wales. In parts of the mid Wales interior a household may have two realistic suppliers, and where that is true the volume discount is thinner than the national picture suggests.
